My TBR for #TheReadingQuest!

I don’t know if many of you have heard, but Aentee from Read at Midnight (Go check out her blog!!) is hosting a new reading challenge! It is called THE READING QUEST and will be running from August 13th-September 10th!

You can check out the original post that explains everything here

Also, before we get started…special shoutout to CW from Read, Think, Ponder for creating the art for this challenge! Please do not steal CW’s art and use it for your own purposes without her permission first.

Now to the TBR!

Since I am choosing Mage as my character I have to read a book:

  1. with a one word title
  2. that contains magic
  3. set in a different world
  4. that is the first in a series
  5. that is based on mythology

The books I chose for each challenge are:

  1. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
  2. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
  3. Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
  4. An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
  5. The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan

Hopefully many of you will join the quest and conquer your to-be-read piles! And if you are already planning on participating tell me what you’ll be reading in the comments!

Talk to you soon! – Christina xx

  1. Oh I loved Clockwork Angel! Fangirl was really good too, but I didn’t like all the fan fiction bits very much. The Red Pyramid was good but I feel like my expectations were too high after PJO so I didn’t enjoy it as much, haha. I really want to read Strange the Dreamer as well, Laini Taylor’s gorgeous writing is hyped up so much. Good luck, and Happy Reading! 🙂

    Here’s my TBR!

  2. Wonderful TBR! I’m definitely jealous! Strange the Dreamer has been hidden beneath my TBR pile for months now and I still haven’t gotten to it, despite all the hype it’s been getting here!
Happy August reading! I’m definitely looking forward to what you have to say about these great titles! 🙂

    1. Thank you so much! I am so looking forward to these reads! I’ve actually started Strange the Dreamer a while ago, but for some reason I couldn’t quite get into the story. I figured I would try again since a lot of people adore it. 😀 Happy reading to you too!
